Frank J Mullholland was Town Cerk of Orange from 1895-1935. Following his death a fund was raised to commemorate him and the money collected was used to make a sunken garden in [[Cook Park]]. It was dedicated on 14 February 1938 by the Hon E S Spooner who also opened the Park's fernery.
