Gosling Creek Reservoir
Gosling Creek was named after Jonathon W. Gosling, a free settler who arrived in Australia by ship in 1827.

The Gosling Creek Reservoir provided the first Orange town water supply and was officially turned on by Governor Charles R.B. Carrington on 8 October 1890. Gosling Creek was redeveloped into an environmentally based recreation area over the course of 2001 and 2002.
