Reg Kidd Mayor of Orange 2008-2009, 2017-2021


Reginald Allan Kidd was born and bred in Orange, as were his parents and grandparents. He was educated at Glenroi Heights Public School and Orange High School.

Councillor Kidd served on Orange City Council for 31 years, including two terms as mayor.

Reg has been involved with numerous community organisations including the Australian National Field Days, the Orange Botanic Gardens and the Orange Hospital Working Committee. He served on the Orange High School Advisory Council and was a patron of Glenroi School. He was also chairman of the Noxious Weeds Advisory Council and a member of the Catchment Management Authority.


Profile

- Agricultural Consultant. - Community involvement with the Field Days since 1974, the Orange Botanic Gardens since 1979 and the Orange Hospital Working Committee. I have been on the Orange High School Advisory Council and was a patron of Glenroi School. I am Chairman of the Noxious Weeds Advisory Council and a Member of the Catchment Management Authority. I am married to Kerry and have three adult sons and two beautiful grandsons.
