Thomas and elizabeth had 7 children. Elizabeth died in 1877 at 34 years of age. Thomas remarried in 1880, mary anne josephine ahern. they had no children. mary anne died in 1911. |

Thomas Dalton was born at Duntryleague, Ireland on 25 April 1820, the eldest son of James Dalton Snr and Ellen Ryan.
