Dalton Street runs for two blocks through what used to be part of the Bletchington Estate. There was a dam at the north-west corner of the Dalton Street and Thomas Street intersection, a dairy on the east side, between Ophir Street and Casey Street, and the old home on the corner of Ophir Street and Lords Place seems to have been the farmhouse.
